# How to Write a Good Edit Request (Direction)

> No need to start over. Describe the detail you want in one sentence in Edit, and ModoAI restyles that shot.

## How to Write It

<ul>
  <li>**Be specific about what to change.** Saying where and how gets you closer to the result you want.</li>
  <li>**Specify what to keep.** Naming what should stay the same helps prevent unwanted changes.</li>
  <li>**Request one change at a time.** Asking for multiple changes at once may lead to unexpected results.</li>
</ul>
